Sure, most of them suck with the exception of a few gems.
Like, I loved the re-make of Dawn of the Dead. and Shaun of the Dead was awesome.

Last night I saw Zombie Strippers.
This is not a chick flick at all. [prolly why I liked it]

I just put Zombies Anonymous in my Netflix queue.
Looks funny as hell.

I really enjoyed Zombie Strippers, but then again I DJ for gothic strippers, so I felt like I knew a couple of the characters.

Check out "Cemetery Man" with Rupert Everett - that one is really good!

I really liked Fido (www.imdb.com/title/tt0457572/)...in that Bubba Ho Tep kinda way. Set in an alternate universe reminscent of 1950s American suburbia where zombies are controlled and exploited for manual labor, servants and status symbols. This is the story of how one particular zombie becomes a surrogate father to an alienated boy... If you like your zombie movies quirky, you may like it too.

        I *love* zombie flix!!

I rate Dawn of the Dead (remake)
28 Days Later... aw fuck it. After looking at this list en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List...mbie_films it's absolutely impossible for me to pick a top 5 list.

The Dawn of the Dead remake was one of the only movies I reviewed on Netflix:

"After witnessing the redundant and unneccesary remakes of 'Night of the Living Dead', 'the Texas Chainsaw Massacre', and 'Psycho', I refused to see the remake of 'Dawn of the Dead' in the theatres. My mistake! This movie does an incredible job updating the story for a new, slightly desensitized audience. And unlike those other remakes I mentioned, this one isn't confined by every detail of the original storyline. The basic premise is there - a shopping mall becomes an oasis during a zombie apocalypse - but the characters, situations, and scares are all new. I still love the original George Romero film, but let's face it - most kids these days would giggle at all the green-skinned extras from the 1979 version. Combining elements of action, comedy, and plenty of brilliant scares, this new version is actually more entertaining than the original.

145 out of 181 people found this review helpful."

The brilliance of a great deal of the Zombie flix I've ever seen is that many of them are actually black comedies. Sean of the Dead takes it to a whole other level by parodying even the black comedies. Fido to me felt like Sean Part two. It almost seamlessly picks up right where Sean left us.

Zombies Anonymous was pretty far out there.
Imagine a society that has come to terms with the fact that zombies are in there lives for good and they try to coexist with them.
    Yeah, pretty whack uh?

i thought zombies anonymous was a crappy movie that actually did suck...but after watching it and going to bed i was awakened by someone trying to get into my apartment, rattling the door and everything. a drunk/crazy chick from the bar downstairs had wandered into the building and thought she lived there. seemed to fit in a weird way.

but whoever recommended the stink of flesh was right on!
